Bodiam Castle & Grounds – National Trust – East Sussex

Bodiam Castle is one of around 4 National Trust properties close to us and it’s great for a walk, with the dog, having a coffee and visiting the gift shop and garden shop.

It’s a great location whatever the weather but is especially stunning on a sunny day.

Dog Walking

It’s great for walking the dog. Keep your dog on lead as there are ducks and other birds in the lake. Dogs are not allowed within the grounds of the castle itself. You can also walk along the canal outside of the grounds of the castle.

Have a coffee!

There are two coffee shops, during holidays and peak season. One at the entrance where the carpark is and one up on the hill behind the castle.
